Hi and welcome to Redeemer Kids! Thinking of joining us on a Sunday? This page is to give you a taster of what activities are on for our children and to answer any questions you might have.

We’d love to meet you - simply look out for someone wearing a bright blue ‘Redeemer Kids’ t-shirt or head for the ‘Redeemer Kids ‘banner…better still, let us know you are coming and have someone greet you - just click the button above and fill out the form and someone will be in touch!

We offer both fun and secure programmes for children under the age of 13. We are members of CCPAS (Churches Child Protection Advisory Services - now called thirtyone:eight) and have a thorough Child Protection Policy in place. Part of our care and security for your children is ensuring we have a thorough registration process.

If you want to save time on Sunday, you can print out the below forms and fill them out before Sunday - just remember to bring them when you come!

Children are God’s precious gifts to us and are a vital and important part of our church family. We aim to make our children’s environment safe, fun and exciting! We are a fairly new church and our capacity is growing as we do, but we do not currently have activities for children older than primary school age. If you are bringing you child and they are older, we’d still love to partner with you and see how we can serve you - please do not hesitate to get in touch. Below are the current children’s groups we have activities for.

We have three groups/spaces for our children

  • Ages 0 - 6 months

  • We provide a room, mats and toys. The room is adjacent to the main hall with double doors between them.

  • Parents are responsible for their children.

  • Ages 6 months - 4 years

  • Starts AFTER WORSHIP and runs until the end of the service

  • The age of moving between Creche and Redeemer Kids can be discussed and tailored individually given a child’s development.

  • Reception - Year 6 (this group is sometimes split for teaching but remain in the same room)

  • Begins about 15 min after the start of worship.

  • REGISTRATION can take place before the service - you can register from when you arrive.

  • Where possible it is helpful to download, print and fill out the following forms before you come - but we can easily do them at church too.

‘Play & Pray’ is a mother and toddler group that runs every second Tuesday during term time. It is a great opportunity to get to know other mothers at a similar stage of parenting, and to grab a few minutes to read the Bible and pray together.

To find out more or to come along, head to our contact page and message us.

Baby dedication is a commitment to raise your child in the ways of the Lord. This dedication is not a statement of salvation for your child, but rather a statement of how you will raise your child.

While not a command of Scripture, baby dedications can be a symbol – similar to a wedding band – of your desire to obediently raise your child in the knowledge and instruction of the Lord. It should be done with a community of believers who know you personally and can commit to walking with you in this commitment.

We hope that as you commit, in obedience and faith, to raise your child in the ways of the Lord and make disciples in the home, that your church community will commit to holding you accountable to it, and encourage you in working it out.

We occasionally have services that are particularly focused on, or involve the children. These are fun times where we get to enjoy a great ‘family moment’ together as we play games, worship and learn about Jesus through the eyes and hearts of our children.

Parents will always be informed when there is going to be a family service. If you ever have any questions about our children’s work please grab someone in a blue t-shirt or contact us.
